Orin Pacht was born and raised on the New Hampshire side of the Upper Valley and loves his connection to this place, land, and people. He has always been drawn to the natural world and as much as it is a tired trope for artists, his work bears the truth of organic inspiration. Now based on the Vermont side of the UV, he strives to bring those elemental influences to comfortably wearable art. As a juried member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, after two decades of teaching jewelry making and working in the jewelry world, Orin is proud to return to the Annual Craftsmen’s Fair (especially as winner of the 2019 Best Jewelry Booth Award), online this year instead of at Sunapee. You can also find him sharing what he has learned by teaching classes at Hanover’s NH League of Craftsmen and instructing students and faculty at Dartmouth College.
